The history of Grave Tiling & Flooring is built upon four decades of family expertise and dedication to quality in the construction industry. Our foundation was established by John Grave, who began his career as an apprentice plasterer at the age of 16. John later transitioned his focus from plastering to tiling twenty years ago, going on to establish John Grave Tiling. With forty years of industry experience, John became well established as one of Dunedin’s leading tilers, drawing on experience gained tiling literally hundreds of kitchens, bathrooms, ensuites, foyers, and entrance ways.
I had the privilege of learning this trade firsthand, spending every school holiday working for my father, John Grave Tiling. This hands-on apprenticeship allowed me to absorb the high standards of precision and craftsmanship that have defined the family business for decades.
I have now taken over the family legacy and started my own company, Grave Tiling & Flooring. We honor the tradition of quality and excellence established by John Grave Tiling, while expanding our service offerings to continue providing the Dunedin community with expert tiling and flooring solutions.
